The DM&S describes BR 17 as: "from Uffington BR24 at the Parish boundary at Idlebush Barrow, South-South-West, South-South-East and East to Lambourn Parish boundary at the Berks County boundary at its junction with Woolstone FP18".
The following notes also apply: "Diversion order 22-8-77. The original route of BR17 was retained as FP and numbered 18 in the Parish of Woolstone. See also Uffington BR24 and Uffington FP28".
