Woolstone Farm is
located in the heart of the village of Woolstone, Oxfordshire at the foot
of the Uffington White Horse and with easy access to the Ridgeway, the Downs and
quiet country lanes. A short ride around the beautiful village leads to
Woolstone Hill where riders can go through a gate onto the National Trust land.
A permitted path goes up to and around the Uffington Hill Fort and just beyond
is the Ridgeway Long Distance path and many miles of wonderful downland riding.
A superb place to train horses for dressage, eventing, showjumping and
endurance.
The DIY livery yard is owned and managed by Hugh Baxter and
Elaine and Duncan Baber who live on the farm. Caroline Evans BHSAI, who has run
a livery business from this site for over ten years, runs a full livery service and
will take horses for schooling. Caroline is also available to provide training for
riders on their own horses, resident on the farm or non-resident. DIY clients
can use the full livery side of the yard on a regular basis or to cover holidays
or when life makes it difficult to look after their own horses.
The farm offers all-year turn out and livery includes the use of the large
indoor riding school, jumps and cross country jumps when ground conditions
permit.
